Peggy Sweeney-McDonald - Created Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde ... in 2010 and produces the event under her company, Superstar Events-LA.  As President of SSE-LA, she has offices in Los Angeles and Baton Rouge, LA and offers a wide range of corporate meeting & event services and specializes in creative themes to ensure memorable events.  A member of Screen Actors Guild, she has worked in television commercials, film and theatre for over 20 years.  She produced the tv pilot of "Meanwhile, Back At Cafe Du Monde..." and has several film projects in development.   www.superstareventsla.com

 

 

 

 

Beth Schnitzer - Emcee of the Show - Co-Founder/Owner of Spritz Marketing
Hailing from the East Coast, Beth has had a successful 20+ year career in the hospitality, sports, and entertainment sectors. Beth is Co-Founder and Partner of Spritz Marketing, an interactive marketing company that specializes in brand strategy and digital marketing solutionsBeth also oversees Partnership Marketing for  PIER 39, Northern California’s most visited Tourist Attraction. Beth is actively involved in the San Francisco Community through various Non-Profit Boards and fundraising events and is also a Foodie and Wine lover. And her brothers have  restaurants in Cape Cod, MA  and South Beach FL.  Beth was the emcee at the San Francisco Premiere show on March 8th and excited to be on board again!
 

 

 

 
 
GraceAnn Walden - She wasn't much interested in anything until she got into cooking (restaurants and catering) and later food writing. In 1989, she created the Inside Scoop, a restaurant news column with a sense of humor, for the San Francisco Chronicle. She also wrote for the Wine Spectator and Sunset magazines. In 2007, she edited and wrote a cookbook, 86 Recipes San Francisco. She appears on KGO radio as their restaurant guru. Andrea Laudate - "The Chocolate Lady"
or "MaMa L" to most people, created the popular Mama Laudate's Cultural Cooking Classes.She never got over the grunt work of working in a restaurant​, so catered non-profit​s and taught kids.  She won the "Heros in Education" Award in 2004 and in 2007, went on the Dr. Phil Show with the tag line of "Sex doesn't feel as good as chocolate taste" - It was good TV.  She contribute​d to The Brain Power cookbook.  Helping kids and a guest chef for the Bob Hope USO is her biggest joy and the gift that keeps on giving!

Kevin Adams Cline - born and raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida, Kevin went to Boston University to study poetry and philosophy.  This uniquely qualified him to be a bartender and he plied this trade earing enough money to buy him an old motorcyle which he drove across country.  He ran out of money and fell in love with San Francisco in '98.  After bartending in dives and nightclubs, he aquired a love for food, wine and sprits and the people who create and serve them.  After becoming the General Manager of BIX, he opened The Front Porch in 2006 with his friend and partner, Josey White. He is married to Jenny Rojas Cline and they have a daughter, Clementine.  www.thefrontporchsf.com

Michael Capozzola is a Bay Area based comedian and cartoonist.
His cartoon, "Surveillance Caricatures" appears in the San Francisco Chronicle.
He's contributed to The New York Times, Mad Magazine & McSweeney's.
He's been the Cartoonist-in-Residence at the Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, CA

Russell Rummer

After graduating from The Ohio State University, Rummer moved to Miami Beach where he received a degree in culinary arts at Johnson and Wales University. His first official post was lead line cook at BAMBU Restaurant, In 2002, Rummer relocated to San Francisco and joined MC? as Executive Sous Chef and then moved to Absinthe as Chef de Cuisine.

In fall 2004, Rummer left Absinthe, married his long-time girlfriend Liz, and embarked on a honeymoon/culinary tour of France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. Returning to San Francisco, he was hired as Chef de Cuisine at Traci des Jardins’ Acme Chop House. 

 
 

Nikki Thomas wakes us all up every weekday morning as part of the Kevin Brown morning show on KBLX, 102.9.  This Louisiana native is a graduate of Xavier university in New Orleans. She started her radio career in her hometown while she was still a junior in college, and has never looked back.  After working at WYLD and WQUE, she braved the brutal winters of Buffalo, New York as the morning show co-host on WBLK. She is a single mom who understands that the demands of daily life require a certain creative tenacity. Nikki is also the founder of The Nikki Thomas Network, a community based website that shows the best of the Bay Area and a blog entitled Nikki's  Notebook.  
 

 Zuzy Martin Lynch

Executive Producer and Co-Founder of Cooking for the Clueless, helps a “clueless” generation get into the kitchen by producing videos, expert articles and a blog that chronicles the difficult journey of going from “clueless” to cooking. Today, her mission is to help people get into the kitchen. Winner of a 2010 Tasty Award for Best Food DVD, Cooking for the Clueless has been featured on Oprah.com, Weight Watchers Magazine, ABC, iVillage, and Daytime.

Chef Andrea Froncillo (The Stinking Rose, Bobo's, The Franciscan at Fisherman's Wharf) has made many appearances on national and local news channels and cooking shows, including Now You're Cooking (NBC), Woman 2 Woman (CBS), Good Day L.A. (FOX), La Cocina (LA Univision) as well as radio shows including Merrill Shindler’s Restaurant Show on 97.1 in Los Angeles; Dining Around with Gene Burns on KGO, and appearances on KABL, KMEL and K101 in San Francisco. His recipes and recommendations have been featured in several Bay Area newspaper articles.  His web site, Sex and the Kitchen is filled with recipes for two and recommendations for romantic travel and dining throughout the world.

 

Paul Kassem

Chef and owner of Pasta Paradiso, has spent nearly 15 years in the
food service industry. Beginning as a busboy upon his arrival in San Francisco,
Paul worked his way up the "front-of-the-house" ranks in several restaurants
around the City where he developed a breadth of knowledge in classic table
service, wines and , most importantly, Mediterranean cuisine.
