Jay Ducote, Emcee, is a culinary personality and a veteran of the Meanwhile, shows as storyteller and emcee.  His food story is featured in the Meanwhile,.. book.  Jay was a contestant on Season 2 of Fox's MasterChef.  A talented writer, an avid traveler, a philanthropist when he gets the chance, an entrepreneur at times, and one heck of a good guy. He is the author of the website Bite and Booze  which chronicles his culinary and indulgent cultural experiences as he eats and drinks in  Louisiana and around the world.  Jay's writing has been featured in Louisiana Cookin' Magazine,, The Huffington Post, 225 Magazine, and more.  He is the Host of the Bite & Booze Radio Show presented by Calandro's Supermarket on Talk 107.3 FM.

Karen & Bill Profita
- While Bill has worked in advertising and Karen for nonprofits, many in Baton Rouge know them from the radio.  They have been the calming voices during hurricanes and the kick off to weekends with Fun Friday.  Talk 107.3 is where you find Bill weekdays 4-6 on the Bill Profita Show and Karen 11-1 on Saturdays with Saturday Style.  When not working they are cooking.  They both have a passion for creating in the kitchen and once a year they test their skills, catering their holiday party that has been known to attract more than 200 guests.  Over 25 years they have gone from a simple gathering for friends to "Whose Party Is It Anyway?"  This is their first time as storytellers in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... show!

Pam Bordelon is the popular Social Columnist of The Advocate's "Pam's Party Line" and has been a veteran of the Baton Rouge Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... shows since appearing in the July 2010 shows at Ralph & Kacoo's and is featured in the book with her story, "It's Got Green Stuff".

Chef Jim Urdiales, Owner of Mestizo's Louisiana Mexican Restaurant  was a presenter in the premiere Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... shows at The Myrtles Plantation and the Lyceum Ballroom in May of 2010 and has been a popular storyteller in the shows throughout the years.  On several occasions, he has brought his Mom up on stage to "steal his thunder" by telling one of her naughty cajun jokes!   HIs story, "Journey of a Cajun Mexican" appears in the Meanwhile... book. Chef Jim will be hosting the first Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... Culinary Cruise with Peggy Sweeney-McDonald over Thanksgiving week on Holland America to the Eastern Caribbean.  He was a presenter at the 2012 Louisiana Book Festival.

Smiley Anders is a daily columnist in The Advocate. His book, “A Laughing Matter” not only contains funny stories from his columns published between 1991 and 2000, but also an account of his life, from his early days as a spoiled brat in Natchez, Miss., to his high school and college days in Baton Rouge and his journey in journalism that culminated in his award-winning column. Smiley has been a popular storyteller in the Meanwhile, many times including the 1st Anniversary Show at Juban's in 2011, and his story, "A Quiet Christmas" is featured in the book.

Jim Engster is President of the Louisiana Radio Network and Tiger Rag Magazine and hosted the statewide offering Louisiana Live from 1998-2003. The Jim Engster Show has been part of the WRKF schedule since March 1, 2004.Every weekday Jim engages listeners with compelling discussions ranging from presidential and gubernatorial campaigns to LSU football and the aftermath of disasters like Hurricane Isaac.  Jim was a storyteller in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... show in October 2010 and his story "Life at Louie's" appears in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde...Life Stories About Food coffeetable/cookbook.

Diana Zollicoffer is an actress, producer, director, writer and lives in Los Angeles.  She is the writer, director and producer of FU, a romantic comedy currently in pre-production in Baton Rouge and New Orleans under her production company, Cazadora Entertainment.  She has written The Myrtles, a film script in development about the famous Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana which she will produce with Peggy Sweeney-McDonald.  Diana produced the acclaimed play, Innocent Flesh, about human trafficking in Hollywood and Off-Broadway in New York. She has appeared in the Los Angeles premiere of Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... and her story, "The Other Creole Girl" is featured in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... Life Stories About Food coffeetable/cookbook.

Daron Stiles, a native of Baton Rouge, LSU Graduate and is an actor who has appeared in countless plays in Baton Rouge and beyond.  He was in the premiere shows of Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... in May 2010 at The Myrtles Plantation and The Lyceum Ballroom.  His popular "A Pot Pie Story" is featured in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... Life Stories About Food coffeetable/cookbook along with his delicious Cajun Pot Pie recipe that was featured in 225 Magazine in the Fall.

Peggy Sweeney-McDonald, President of Superstar Events-L.A, is  the Creator/ Producer of “Meanwhile, Back At Café Du Monde”shows and the book by Pelican Publishing that features 67 food stories, recipes and pictures released in Fall 2012 to rave reviews.  The beautiful coffeetable/cookbook has been endorsed by Chef Emeril Lagasse, Chef John Besh, Pulitzer Prize winning author - Jeffrey Marx and Rex Reed and has been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers, television and radios shows across the country.  The "Meanwhile" shows have been produced in California, Louisiana and Mississippi with over 250 foodies sharing their life stories about food. She was a presenter at the 2012 Louisiana Book Festival and the 2012 Faulkner Society Words and Music conference.  She is a contributing writer for Chili Pepper Magazine's upcoming Barbeque Issue. Peggy is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and resides in Los Angeles with her husband, James McDonald.  She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and worked in film, theatre, commercials as an actress for more than 25 years.  She produces corporate, red carpet and non-profit events. She is developing southern film projects, including a television pilot of the “Meanwhile,…” show.
