Lisa Annitti is an actress and head production accountant on ABC's Revenge. Lisa's food story, "A Coconut pie and a Bottle of Wine" has become legendary as it was the funny story that inspired Peggy to create the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Lisa was in the original cast of Meanwhile at The Myrtles in 2010 and has been in the New Orleans and Los Angeles shows.  Her story is the first food story in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde ... book.  Lisa is originally from New Jersey & presently working as the Production Accountant on ABC show, Revenge. 

Chef Richard Petty, a native of Detroit, started his culinary travels in the kitchens of Atlanta where he was taking care of his ill Father who encouraged him to attend The California Culinary Academy.   He has developed a straight forward but distinctive style of New American cooking after spending time in some of California's best kitchens with  Bradley Ogden, Patrick Clark and Wolfgang Puck.  He the author of the acclaimed cookbook,  Beyond Soul Food, and he is currently developing a new restaurant concept of healthy, sustainable  southern food called  Red Yam..  He hosts the weekly show, Let's Do Lunch, at LA Talk Live on Saturday mornings at 10:00am.  His website is

Stephen Domingue
is a native of Louisiana and owner of the popular Ragin Cajun food truck found around Los Angeles hot spots!  He formerly owned the Ragin Cajun in Hermosa Beach and will be opening in a new location in Hermosa Beach in May 2013.  He created the popular item, Gumbolaya, when a customer came in late to get Jambalaya and he was out of white rice so put the Gumbo on the jambalaya.  It is the most popular menu item served by the Ragin Cajun!  Stephen appeared as a contestant in the first season of The Food Network's Food Truck Wars.

Jeni Pennington
(aka Jeni Jeffrey - newlywed) strives to produce thought provoking, intelligent work both independently and commercially in all photographic mediums.  She grew up working in the darkroom with her grandma, Alice Sims, who worked at Zercher Photo in Topeka, Kansas for sixty-two years.  Her unbridled energy and passion is contagious to everyone on the set.  She graduated from the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies with an A.S. in photographic technology and Cal State University Northridge with a B.A. in art, concentration photography.  Her work can be seen at and  Jeni was in the premiere Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... show at the House of Blues on Sunset in August 2010.

Michael Lyle, hailing from Lafayette, LA,, is a Foley Artist at Universal Studios, creating sound effects for TV shows and films.  Favorite Foley roles have been Dr. Gregory House’s limp and cane, the squeaky minions in “Despicable ME” and himself in Diet Coke’s “Not All Stars Appear Onscreen” Commercial, a part of the 2012 Oscar telecast. In 2004, he won both the Emmy and MPSE Golden Reel Awards for HBO’s “And Starring Pancho Villa As Himself”. Having walked off with the only two awards Foley artists can win, he had lots of fun telling friends that he swept awards season!  There’s also an Emmy for “61”, a House M.D. Golden Reel and numerous nominations. Musically speaking, Michael plays a jazz and blues drummer/bandleader with The Bluecat Express. His wife, vocalist and music educator Heather Lyle, sings. Check out their CD, “Spirit of New Orleans.”  Favorite performances - Jacksonville Jazz Festival, LSU Alumni Crawfish Boils and, of course, grotto-side at the Playboy Mansion. Craziest life experience - waking up after Jacksonville Jazzfest and making it back to Universal for a 3:30pm “House” call  (still wondering why he scheduled those two gigs back-to-back!). Michael and Heather live in Pacific Palisades with jazz-cats Tiger and Annie.

Peggy Sweeney-McDonald is the creator of Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde...and the editor of the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... Life Stories About Food, the much acclalimed coffee table/cookbook by Pelican Publishing. She is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, an LSU graduate and has lived in Houston, New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles.  She is the President of Superstar Events-LA a meeting and event production company.  She is married to James McDonald, a New Yorker.  She is developing a television show based on the Meanwhile... brand and southern film projects.  Since the book launch in 2012, she has been featured in countless magazines, newspapers, radio and television shows and been invited to present the Meanwhile... journey and food stories across the South, recently around Southern California. She was a presenter at the 2012 Louisiana Book Festival and the 2012 Faulkner Society's Words & Music.  She will be hosting the first Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... Emcee - Adam Milstein is the co-owner of the popular SOUTH Santa Monica Restaurant & Bar and The Garage Restaurant in Culver City.  He is originally from Chicago and Atlanta.  He attended Tulane University in New Orleans. His story, "A Bit of SOUTH in Santa Monica" is featured in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde...Life Stories About Food coffee table book.  He was the emcee for the 2010 Santa Monica show of Meanwhile... at SOUTH and hosted the recent Meanwhile book launch party in January 2013.
