Emcee, Michael Lyle
, hailing from Lafayette, LA,, is a Foley Artist at Universal Studios, creating sound effects for TV shows and films.  Favorite Foley roles have been Dr. Gregory House’s limp and cane, the squeaky minions in “Despicable ME” and himself in Diet Coke’s “Not All Stars Appear Onscreen” Commercial, a part of the 2012 Oscar telecast. In 2004, he won both the Emmy and MPSE Golden Reel Awards for HBO’s “And Starring Pancho Villa As Himself”. Having walked off with the only two awards Foley artists can win, he had lots of fun telling friends that he swept awards season!  There’s also an Emmy for “61”, a House M.D. Golden Reel and numerous nominations. Musically speaking, Michael plays a jazz and blues drummer/bandleader with The Bluecat Express. His wife, vocalist and music educator Heather Lyle, sings. Check out their CD, “Spirit of New Orleans.”  Favorite performances - Jacksonville Jazz Festival, LSU Alumni Crawfish Boils and, of course, grotto-side at the Playboy Mansion. Craziest life experience - waking up after Jacksonville Jazzfest and making it back to Universal for a 3:30pm “House” call  (still wondering why he scheduled those two gigs back-to-back!). Michael and Heather live in Pacific Palisades with jazz-cats Tiger and Annie.
