John Dardenne started stand-up at 18 in Louisiana before going to film school at USC in
Hollywood and studying sketch and improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade
Theatre. John's written jokes for The Wanda Sykes Show on FOX, contributed
material to The Tonight Show, and been featured on CNN and Time.com. He's acted
in Nintendo and Comcast commercials and he writes the kids political talk-show
"Fresh Perspectives." John hosts a stand-up show called Nice Show!
every 2nd and 4th Tuesday 8pm at The Hayworth Theater on Wilshire.
Richard Hertzog - A long time Los Angeles foodie committed to eating the city, one bite at a time. Richard is lucky to have ties to Louisiana as he married a Louisiana Southern Belle, Michele, who was raised near the bayou in Houma! Richard was in the audience of the Los Angeles premiere Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... show at House of Blues in August of 2010, and has been chomping at the bit to tell his food tales ever since!
Pepper Jay is a live music and film/TV producer and the
publisher of the Actors Reporter. She
also practices law as a creditors' rights attorney in federal court. Pepper Jay began her performance career at age 5. When
she wasn’t appearing in television sitcoms, such as ‘The Real McCoys’, she was
performing on stage in school, at local parks, or community theater. She is a graduate of San Diego State University and she taught at Hollywood High
School, John Muir Junior High School, and, at Crenshaw High School. Although Pepper Jay completed her pubic teaching career in
1983, she continues to this day her private performance teaching and coaching.
Pepper also continues her public speaking engagements for both public and
private schools; sharing with school children topics such as ‘Listen and Be
Heard,’ and ‘The Power of Money.’ She is a producer of live music entertainment and
media content and director of films (‘Hercules In Hollywood’), documentaries
(‘Women Warriors’), and music videos (‘Run’). She coaches performance skills
for actors, speakers, and singers. Pepper Jay (“SAG and AEA”) also remains a
working actor (“The Call” – 2011, “Midlife” – 2011, “Brooklyn USA” – 2010,
Honey Labrador is an actress, television host and producer. She was discovered as a model at 17 in her hometown of Southampton, leading to a successful international career for the next 16 years. She has been on the cover and in the pages of magazines such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, Madamoiselle and Elle. She has been in national campaigns for the likes of Levi's, Lubriderm, Nike and Virginia Slims and over 40 national commercials. However, film producing is in her blood. In 1999 she became Director of Development for Passion Films, later running the company. Projects included, feature film, "Good Advice" with Charlie Sheen, award-winning short "Off-Side" from Leena Creel and "Tour Stowaways" a pilot from Tim Hudson and Luka Pecel. She teamed with Chris Racster on the short "The Bug in My Ear", "The Handkerchief" from AFI Director Amanda Mears and the Power Up short film "Little Black Boot." She ran the production company of Last Bastion Films and produced Spork in 2010, a feature musical comedy which went on to win the Best Audience Award at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival.

She is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, an LSU graduate and has lived in Houston, New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles. She is the President of Superstar Events-LA a meeting and event production company. She is married to James McDonald, a New Yorker. She is developing a television show based on the Meanwhile... brand and southern film projects. Since the book launch in 2012, she has been featured in countless magazines, newspapers, radio and television shows and been invited to present the Meanwhile... journey and food stories across the South, recently around Southern California. She was a presenter at the 2012 Louisiana Book Festival and the 2012 Faulkner Society's Words & Music. She will be hosting the first Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... He has been featured on the Food Network's "Next Food Network Star", the Oprah Winfrey Network's "Home Made Simple" and was selected to prepare a luncheon for the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama. His first cookbook, "Look Who's Cooking Now, Culinary Lifestyles for Young Adults" is launching soon.
