Lisa Annitti
Lisa Annitti is an actress and head production accountant on ABC's Revenge. Lisa's food story, "A Coconut pie and a Bottle of Wine" has become legendary as it was the funny story that inspired Peggy to create the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Lisa was in the original cast of Meanwhile at The Myrtles in 2010 and has been in the New Orleans and Los Angeles shows.  Her story is the first food story in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde ... book.  Lisa is originally from New Jersey and presently working as the Production Accountant on the ABC show, Revenge. 

Melanie Elliott is a mom, wife, producer, blogger, some time actor and is currently the Executive Director of the Elliott Family Residence.  In her blog, Mom To The Littlest E (, Melanie writes about parenting and life as a transracial, international adoptive parent. Before starting her own blog, she wrote for LIFEclectic online parenting magazine.  Once upon a time, she acted with California Shakespeare Festival (SF Bay Area) and Eclectic Company Theatre (NoHo).  She was also a founding member of Woman's Will, San Francisco's all-female Shakespeare company.  You can catch Melanie on Twitter @Mom2TLE

Brigitte Pailet is a native of New Orleans where she was a Television Reporter/Anchor for Fox News before relocating to Los Angeles to become a familiar face on the red carpets, often interviewing celebrities during award season.  She then joined the TV shopping world as the host of several national jewelry shopping networks and eventually became the beauty & fashion expert on HSN.  Next Brigitte decided to find her own lines to represent and brought them to QVC, including Snookies Cookies of Glendale, known in LA, as the "cookie company to the stars."  Being the spokesperson for Snookies on QVC, led Brigitte to taking over Snookies marketing/PR ...and now becoming their General Manager.   Snookies, truly a Los Angeles landmark known for the best cookies in town and a favorite of Jay Leno is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. Brigitte is responsible for creating their famous "King Cake" cookie that is in high demand during Mardi Gras season.  Always being a New Orleans girl at heart attended the first L.A. show of Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... at House of Blues Sunset in August 2010,and has been on Peggy's wish list of people to be in the Meanwhile show since then!

Adam Milstein is the co-owner of the popular SOUTH Santa Monica Restaurant & Bar and The Garage Restaurant in Culver City.  He is originally from Chicago and Atlanta.  He attended Tulane University in New Orleans. His story, "A Bit of SOUTH in Santa Monica" is featured in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde...Life Stories About Food coffee table book.  He was the emcee for the 2010 Santa Monica show of Meanwhile... at SOUTH and hosted the recent Meanwhile book launch party in January 2013.

Chef Das Smith is the founder and director of the Beverly Hills Culinary program.  He has been featured on the Food Network's "Next Food Network Star", the Oprah Winfrey Network's "Home Made Simple" and was selected to prepare a luncheon for the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama.  His first cookbook, "Look Who's Cooking Now, Culinary Lifestyles for Young Adults" is launching soon.  Chef Das was in the Meanwhile.. show at SOUTH in Santa Monica in 2010.

Lance Spellerberg is an actor, scenic designer and a Father.  He is a native of Ohio and has lived in New York, Los Angeles and New Orleans.  He appeared in the Los Angeles premiere show of Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... at the House of Blues Sunset in August of 2010 and has been in the Santa Monica, CA and the Baton Rouge, LA shows.  His poignant story "Miss New Orleans" is the final story in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... Life Stories About Food.

Kat Witt is a native of New Orleans and is the the Chief Operating Manager of Tom Bergin's Tavern, Dominick's, Little Dom's, and the 101 Coffee Shop in Los Angeles.  She was at the original New Orleans show of Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du House of Blues in June of 2010 and has been on the wish list of Peggy to tell her food story in a Meanwhile show.  Kat responsible for bringing the show to Tom Bergin's Tavern, a landmark restaurant in Los Angeles and the place that many consider their "Cafe Du Monde" of L.A. although the drink of choice is Irish Coffee or Guinness not Cafe Au Lait!

Peggy Sweeney-McDonald is the creator of Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde...and the editor of the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... Life Stories About Food, the much acclalimed coffee table/cookbook by Pelican Publishing. She is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, an LSU graduate and has lived in Houston, New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles.  She is the President of Superstar Events-LA a meeting and event production company.  She is married to James McDonald, a New Yorker.  She is developing a television show based on the Meanwhile... brand and southern film projects.  Since the book launch in 2012, she has been featured in countless magazines, newspapers, radio and television shows and been invited to present the Meanwhile... journey and food stories across the South, recently around Southern California. She was a presenter at the 2012 Louisiana Book Festival and the 2012 Faulkner Society's Words & Music.  She will be hosting the first Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... Culinary Cruise in November 2013 with Chef Jim Urdiales on the Norwegian Epic ship out of Miami. 

Diana Zollicoffer is an actress, producer, director, writer.  She has appeared in the Los Angeles Premiere of Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... and her story, "The Other Creole Girl" is featured in the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... Life Stories About Food. Diana produced the acclaimed play, Innocent Flesh, about human trafficking in Hollywood and Off-Broadway in New York.

Emcee - Chef Jamie Gwen, celebrity chef, four time cookbook author, certified sommelier and host of Cooking and Wine with Chef Jamie Gwen live radio show- KFWB News Talk 980.  Chef Jamie is a huge fan of New Orleans and the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde... Life Stories About Food as she has spent time cooking under Emeril Lagasse.
