The monologues explore stories centered on food—relationships built around it, experiences shaped by it, from love affairs and breakups to career journeys and memorable moments. Each narrative highlights food as a central element of our lives, our culture, and our personal histories.
The event combines elements of theatre, culinary appreciation, and cultural storytelling, celebrating how food connects us all.
It begins with a dinner party where guests enjoy food, drinks, and conversation, followed by the performance. Chefs, restaurateurs, food industry professionals, television personalities, musicians, writers, actors, comedians, and food enthusiasts share their five-to-seven-minute stories about food.
The show has toured nationally, hosted in restaurants and venues across the United States, like the original Cafè Du Monde, featuring more than 250 storytellers sharing their personal connections to food.
